The setup wizard and the setup checklist

Where: Launch Pad > Setup chip > Guided setup
Who can use it: Owner, super-admin, admin and manager roles only. Other roles see nothing. Cloud only. The public demo restaurant has no wizard.
Open this page in SureTill

The wizard opens by itself the first time the owner reaches the Launch Pad on a restaurant that is still empty. Each slide saves when you press its button, and repeating a slide is safe. If you close the browser half-way, nothing is lost and the wizard comes back next time.

  1. Step 1, Welcome: read the three tiles (Build your menu, Take orders and payments, See your numbers) and click Let’s get started.
  2. Step 2, Your restaurant: choose the business type, optionally add phone, address and tax, then click Continue.
  3. Step 3, Your menu: choose Start with a sample menu, Import from a spreadsheet or I’ll add items myself, then click Continue.
  4. Step 4, Tables: set how many tables you have and click Add tables and continue.
  5. Step 5, Payments: switch on the extra payment methods you accept and click Continue.
  6. Step 6, Team and devices: read the four tiles and click Finish setup.
  7. All set: click Open the POS and take a test order, or Go to my dashboard.
